About Alexandria Hardy, RDN, LDN
Alexandria Hardy RDN, LDN is a freelance health writer and the owner of Pennsylvania Nutrition Services (PNS), an insurance based nutrition private practice based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She has a dual bachelors of science in Dietetics and Nutrition, Fitness, and Health from Purdue University and she completed her dietetic internship at Indiana University. She is a registered and licensed dietitian with over 15 years of nutrition counseling experience in clinical, research, and community settings. She has her Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management and is Peanut Pro Certified through the National Peanut Board. She has written for a multitude of health and wellness publications including Today’s Dietitian, Super Kids Nutrition, Purdue University Extensions, and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She has also been featured on ABC 27 News, was a panelist for the GIANT Healthy Kids Summit, and is a current member of the Pennsylvania Nutrition Educators Network Advisory Team.
Alexandria is also a mom and plant-based eater who focuses on prioritizing local and seasonal foods. She focuses on accessible, affordable, simple strategies when teaching and prioritizes local and low waste foods. Her nutrition philosophy is simple: food is nourishing and an essential and necessary part of our daily lives.
